Local real estate agents debut on HGTV

Two Fort McMurrayites will make their debut on HGTV’s Battle on the Beach this Sunday, June 5th at 7 p.m.

Paige and Corey Cyr will premiere in the second season of Battle on the Beach as the only Canadian team in the show’s history.

Throughout the season, three teams will renovate identical beach-front properties with guidance from their coaches, Ty Pennington, Alison Victoria and Taniya Nayak.

Paige and Corey are coached by Alison Victoria of Windy City Rehab fame. The show’s reality competition is judged by Brian and Sarah Baumler of HGTV fame.

The husband and wife duo are real estate agents with Coldwell Banker Fort McMurray and also spend their time renovating older homes in the community, making them beautiful and modern again.

In the Cyr’s limited free time, they spend it volunteering with the Wood Buffalo Animal Rescue Committee (WBARC) Paige is the Vice Chair, Secretary and Foster Coordinator of WBARC.

Coldwell Banker and YMM Media Group is hosting a watch party for the Cyrs at the Fort McMurray Golf Club on Sunday.

The public is welcome to attend, doors open at 6 p.m. and the episode airs at 7 p.m. Following, there will be an opportunity to ask Paige and Corey some questions about their time on the show.
