Ticket Information

Tickets for the Wood Buffalo 2023 Arctic Winter Games can be purchased in person at competition venues during Games week or online at awg2023.org/tickets. Cultural Gala tickets can be purchased through Keyano Theatre Box office.

Super Pass: Super Pass gives you access to all sporting competitions during the week at all venues. It does not include any special events or medal-round hockey games. Based on venue capacity, on a first come basis.

Day Pass: A Day Pass gives you access to all sporting competitions on the date selected. This pass does not include special events or medal-round hockey games. Access to venues will be on a first come basis, based on capacity. You can select which day of the Games you want to use your pass when you physically pick up your wristband at the Games Operations Centre (10019 Franklin Ave) pre-Games or an Official Host Venue during Games week.

Opening Ceremonies: Opening Ceremonies presented by Bouchier takes place on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at Legacy Dodge Baseball Stadium (MacDonald Island Park). This ticket is valid for this ceremony only. A separate ticket must be purchased for Closing Ceremonies. Please note: all seating is outside.

Closing Ceremonies: Closing Ceremonies presented by Finning takes place on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 4 p.m. at the Legacy Dodge Baseball Stadium (MacDonald Island Park). This ticket is valid only for the Closing Ceremonies. A separate one must be purchased for Opening Ceremonies. Please note: all seating is outside.

Medal Round Hockey Games: A ticket will be required for each game in all divisions for the medal rounds of hockey taking place at Centerfire Place on February 3 & 4, 2023.

Cultural Gala: The Cultural Gala will showcase the talents of Cultural Participants from across the circumpolar North. The Gala will feature a blend of performance disciplines including theatre, dance, music, and others as well as a collaborative piece that cultural participants learn and rehearse together. This family-friendly event will take place at Keyano Theatre on February 2 & 3, 2023 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Tickets for both shows are sold separately through the Keyano Theatre Box Office.

[1] ADULT: 19-54 years old
[2] YOUTH: 18-3 years old (two and under are free)
[2] SENIOR: 55 years old and older
[3] FAMILY: Includes two adults and two youth passes

Please note: all outdoor venues (Vista Ridge All Seasons Park, Birchwood Trails, Fort McMurray Golf Club) will be non-ticketed. To watch events at Vista Ridge, a walker fee or a chairlift fee for skiers will need to be paid for those attending.
