(She/Her)
Class of 2022
Rienna’s passion for photography is very evident, her outlook on building women to be proud of who they are no matter what shape or size is truly inspiring, this passion for photography has lead her to do a lot of volunteering in the community to capture moments in time to be remembered, including photoshoots at the SPCA to support our four-legged neighbours finding new homes and families.
YMM: What accomplishment are you most proud of?
RD: My personal and professional growth, starting my own photography business and being a multi-home owner.
YMM: What would you say to your 10-year-old self?
RD: Dream Big, and go for it! Do what makes you happy! Don’t be afraid and let fears get in the way!
YMM: Describe your perfect day in YMM.
RD: My favourite days are photography days, but when I’m not doing that. I enjoy going for breakfast or grabbing a coffee, checking out local stores or the urban market by finishing with a nice dinner with the hubby. Or spending the day with my husband volunteering for the SPCA by doing photos for anyone that stops by <3 As we both love love love fur babies!
YMM: Who is your hero, and why?
RD: I don’t have a specific hero, but every single woman that has come through my photography studio has had their own story, and I admire their strengths, bravery and what they have overcome.
YMM: What is something that people are always surprised to learn about you?
RD: I cry a lot, mostly happy moments, some sad, but I cry during TV shows, events, and random acts of kindness. I would say almost on a daily basis. Everything else about me is more obvious.
YMM: How have your priorities changed in the last 10 years?
RD: My personal time, learning to have more of a workplace/life balance – It’s more important to me to spend time with family than it is to go out for drinks and dinner. I am about true authentic relationships and spending quality time.
