
Dîner en Blanc Fort McMurray Returns for Their Fifth Anniversary Celebration
We are back and very excited to offer Dîner en Blanc – Fort McMurray to the community once again!
Your host team is heavy into the planning stages and looks forward to celebrating this unique event in Fort McMurray for the 5th anniversary on Saturday, June 18th.
Dîner en Blanc is an international event held in over 80 cities worldwide. Each event is headed by passionate local organizers adding their local flair, yet respecting the event’s core values.
Denise Hildebrand is returning as the lead host for the fifth year, along with returning host, Dawn Sidoroff and new host Casandra Noel.
We have plenty of room for returning members, guests and new members to be part of Dîner en Blanc – Fort McMurray and look forward to our community gathering and sharing this beautiful, unique, pop-up picnic experience.
How do you attend Dîner en Blanc – Fort McMurray?
To attend you must put your name on our wait list to receive a registration invite (fortmcmurray.dinerenblanc.com). Invites to register are sent out in three phases.
Phase 1 is when a registration email will be sent out to returning members where they have the opportunity to invite friends to join in Phase 2. At each stage, you are able to invite friends to join you, finally in Phase 3 if you haven’t already received an invitation to register you will receive an invite at this time. You will receive an invite during one of the 3 Phases only if you are on the waitlist. Don’t wait, do it now!
When you receive your registration code with your invite, you’ll be led to the website where you chose the location you wish to depart from. You then pick your squad leader, pay the event fee, order your meals and alcohol, and that’s it! You are now registered to attend. To ensure you are sitting with your friends, please make sure you all register for the same departure point and squad leader.
WHAT TO WEAR
White, of course, from head to toe. Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed couple, best-dressed woman and best-dressed man. No pressure, we all look fabulous in our whites!
TABLES
Tables and chairs will be available for you on-site, so no need to bring your own. You are required to bring your own linens, dinnerware, cutlery, glassware, napkins, and table decorations. Keeping on theme, your linens and dishes must be white. For those that like to be creative, there is a prize for “Art of the Table”.
EVENT DAY
Your group gathers at your departure location and you are soon en route to the secret location. Once you arrive on location, you set up your tables, pick up your meals, and alcohol, and the festivities begin with live music during dinner, followed by a few activities and dancing until it’s time to depart and return to your original departure point. Many have been known to carry on the evening at their favourite gathering spots afterwards.

It’s unique, it’s interactive, and it’s an experience unlike other events! It’s a great way to ring in summer, gather with friends, meet new friends and enjoy one of Fort McMurray’s great outdoor locations.
